Today's managers need more than just a "Supervisor 101" course.

In order to be successful in the modern workplace they must learn to become intrapreneurs.

Organizations need confident, capable managers

And managers need a new way to work where they can feel confident, effective, and successful.

What if you could learn a new way to work?

I believe intrapreneurship (taking the mindset, resiliency, and drive of an entrepreneur and applying it to your job within an organization) is the key to success in the modern workplace. Doing more with less, solving new problems, and redefining success require you to be more than just a good employee, you must become an intrapreneur.

In this six-month program, you will get tools and strategies along with support and accountability to do just that. We will meet for one hour, two times a month. The first session of each month will consist of training content, introducing participants to new tools and strategies. The second session of the month will be open coaching, where participants will apply what they’re learning to their real-world experience.

The content is broken into three modules: Perspective, People, and Processes.

FAQs

The program runs for six months, giving participants ample time to digest the material and make substantive shifts in their work life. Sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month (January to June). The first session of the month will be focused on training and the second session of each month will be open coaching, providing a forum for participants to apply the training concepts to their real-life scenarios and navigate any challenges they may be facing. Registration for the current cohort is closed.

I have created this program to be exactly what I needed as a manager, practical yet malleable tools that will evolve and grow with the leader and can be applied no matter the circumstance.

Scripts and how tos can be detrimental, as they cannot possibly cover every situation and they leave little room for an individual’s unique style. The frameworks I provide can be used by anyone in any situation. They provide guardrails if you will, so that the leader can focus on what’s important, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

In addition, my program integrates coaching which allows participants to ask questions and apply concepts directly to their own situations. It also provides a model for which they can coach other employees. This training, then, does not end at the last session, but continues to live on through participants’ application of the tools.

I get it. There are many things competing for limited resources right now and market volatility and uncertainty add to the concern. Costs of pretty much everything are increasing. Your staff turnover may be high.

And it is precisely for those reasons why this is a good investment.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) reported that on average it costs a company 6 to 9 months of an employee’s salary to replace them. The Workforce Learning Report by LinkedIn found that 94% off employees would stay at a company longer if it invested in their careers. And leadership training and coaching is a great way to invest in your people, increasing not only retention, but also the effectiveness of those who stay.

In addition, your mid-level managers play a critical role in your organization. They are the conduit between senior leadership and front-line workers. What they communicate in both directions, how they solve problems, and who they are leaders creates a direct impact to your bottom line through product and service delivery, customer satisfaction, and employee recruitment and retention.

The program is best suited for first-line and mid-level managers whether they are new or more seasoned. In addition, this program can be tailored for aspiring managers as a professional development opportunity.

The content of this program is applicable across industries and organization types (for-profit, non-profit, etc.).

This six-month program will be delivered via Zoom, with two sessions held each month.

If you bring the Intrapreneur Incubator to your organization, we will work with you to determine the best cadence for session delivery. Sessions can be delivered in person or virtually.

Yes. If you are a smaller organization or have only a few staff members that you would like to go through the program, you can partner with another organization to do a joint training.
